Nordic Client Relationship Manager

About the role

As a Client Relationship Manager your role is to further expand and develop the portfolio of Nordic clients of BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM). You will become an important part of strong Nordic sales team focusing on major Institutional and Wholesale clients in the Nordic.

You will be backed up with a clear strategy, a genuine commitment to grow, local presence and a strong international brand. This will be a great possibility to succeed for the right candidate!

We expect the ideal candidate to give service and deepen relationships with existing as well as prospect investors, with the objective to gain market share and achieve the overall sales budget.

Our candidate will have the ability to identify prioritised prospects and develop comprehensive action plans (including account planning). Part of the role is also to analyse, discuss and share market developments and opportunities within the team and with various stakeholders from other departments.

You work in close cooperation with the marketing team to ensure improved brand recognition of BNPP AM in the Nordics.

Who you are
We are looking for an individual with a "hunter" mentality who is highly motivated by sales and with a proven track record of meeting or overachieving sales targets. To be successful in the role, we believe you have 7-10 years of relevant industry sales experience. You are a team player with commitment, energy and drive who thrives in an international environment.

You have the capacity to build strong relationships and an experience of successfully raising capital in the Nordic market.

You have strong communication skills and a strategic partnership mind-set with an ability to influence, negotiate and have strategic discussions with institutional investors at C-level.

Previous experience working with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is preferred. Product knowledge in Emerging Markets, Factor Investing, Private Debt & ESG is also desirable. Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or Finance, and fluent in English and one Scandinavian language, preferable Swedish, both spoken and written is a requirement.
