Medical Director, Clinical & Translational Science

Do you want to be responsible for Sobi’s clinical development activities with hematology and serve as medical expert on matters relating to hematology including regulatory, drug safety and business development?

We are now looking for a Medical Director, Clinical & Translational Science.

Key Responsibilities
• Clinical development plans for programs in all phase 1-3 clinical drug development.
• Design conduct and report Sobi -sponsored studies.
• Strategic and operational clinical development expertise to interactions with regulatory and reimbursement authorities, payers and clinical part of submissions.
• Definition of medical needs and contribution to regulatory & commercial needs.
• Support to other functions within Sobi on matters relating to hematology including regulatory, drug safety and business development.
• Support external sourcing from pre-clinical, clinical phase, registrational and LCM phase.

Who you are
• Specialist in hematology or oncology with at least 5 years clinical experience treating patients with hematological diseases, a background as MD
• Solid track-record of participation in drug development programs within hematology as investigator and/or study physician demonstrating outstanding and intimate understanding of translating early stage programs into the clinic and further across the clinical development chain.
• Expertise in bringing the medical and scientific perspective, drug development wisdom to business development, corporate strategy and leadership decision making.
• Good communication skills, capable of representing the company to all audiences both internally and externally, particularly in the context of collaborations at international conferences and scientific symposia.
• Good organizational skills, be a self-motivated driver of best practices and processes in the management of projects and operations.
• Good team-player with high personal and scientific integrity.
• Comfortable working in fast paced environment.
• You are able to demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi’s core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.

Ideally Stockholm. If located in another European country commuting to Stockholm will be required.
